One time users or retreat participants almost always settle back into their normal life again, more or less just like any other major experiential one or two week spiritual program or retreat.

It’s the repeated usages at high doses that increase the chances of “mind warp” (a term I just made up). From there I’d say it’s 50/50. Since approximately 50% of the population is authoritarian centric, about 50% of the population who use heavy dosages too frequently will initially come to the conclusion that it supports their pre-existing paradigm. However, since reality will give them the smackdown real quick, they will sooner or later 1 - stop taking them, 2 - change their paradigm or 3 - go deeper and deeper down the “deep end”. So ultimately there are very few of these individuals simply because it isn’t sustainable and mostly self-limiting.
