Sensemaking is how we interpret and give meaning to shared experiences, especially critical in today’s complex media landscape shaped by social media and disinformation. The rise of sensationalized, polarized content has strained the socio-cultural fabric, both in the U.S. and globally. In this video, originally hosted by Integral Life, facilitators Brandon Nørgaard and Marty Behrens explore frameworks for understanding current events through an integral lens, focusing on how individuals and groups can navigate political and economic issues and make rational, prosocial decisions. Marty and Brandon present key insights, followed by a participatory session for reflections, questions, and collective sensemaking.
