I’m David, thank you all for your efforts in creating and developing this community.
I heard about ILP a few months ago, but it was just yesterday that I took the step to really try to understand what it’s all about
I started with this free course and devoured it:
I spent the whole Saturday reading and reflecting; and it was great.
After completing the course, I became a member to keep learning about Integral Theory, especially to apply ILP and integrate some areas of my life that feel quite unbalanced.
I even created my own ILP Matrix (not sure if that’s the proper name), where I added some practices I’m already doing (like Weight training in the Body module), as well as some others I’m considering (like Volunteering in the Service module).
Today, I also watched a few Practice videos and took notes.
I know there’s no “standard” way to approach all the available ILP content and how to bring it into your life…
But I wanted to write this post first to say hello (hi! ), and also to ask for any advice or recommendations you might have to help me keep building a strong foundation while applying what I’m learning.
Are there any “must-read” books or helpful approaches you’d recommend?
Welcome to the community and congrats on going through the Build Your Integral Life free course(!)
You are correct, there’s no one way to get going from here. Possibilities;
Find a study group like Charles Marxer does occasionally (you can search for it in the articles and follow instructions there including contacting him to find out if he is doing on soon. I did my first one about a year ago, it was a great experience)
Try some of the paid courses
Consider getting coaching by Nomali Perera or someone else
Start a VCoLing practice which I found out about a few months ago and might be able to share a YouTube video on
