Sharing a song I wrote many years ago and finished more recently

I recently shared a song that I finished about two years ago, but which I first started many years before that.

At the time I was writing it, I was wrestling with questions of meaning, responsibility, and the pull of spiritual reassurance - especially the idea that “all is well,” and how easily that can slide into bypassing pain and not engaging in important activism.

Listening back now, I hear a song that doesn’t try to resolve those questions, but instead circles uncertainty, paradox, and entanglement, and notices the human desire for someone else to hold certainty for us.

I’d be curious how others here hear it, developmentally or otherwise - as a way of holding complexity, or of questioning spiritual narratives without rejecting them outright.
